Synapri are currently working with a leading Public Sector Organisation to recruit an experienced Cyber Security/SOC Engineer for an initial 12-month contract. This role is remote first (very occasional travel may be required for specific workshops, etc.). The key responsibilities for this role are:
- Support the implementation of the threat monitoring and improvement roadmap.
- Implement changes within multiple Cloud Environments.
- Update and maintain existing tools and infrastructure.
- Assist with active investigations and provide expert knowledge to assist analysts.
- Create playbooks and documentation for maintaining new capabilities.
The key skills for this role are:
- Experience configuring security-related tools and implementing security policies.
- Demonstrable experience working with an SIEM tool (Sentinel, Splunk, etc.).
- Experience with AWS and Azure cloud policies and infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Python scripting.
