What You Will Do:

1. Develop and integrate cutting-edge control systems solutions in collaboration with mechanical and hydraulics engineers.
2. Check and approve engineering drawings, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
3. See projects through from concept to completion.
4. Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
5. Prepare and compile essential technical documents, including specifications, reports, and manuals.
6. Engage in hydraulic hardware development and testing, pushing the boundaries of engineering.
7. Interpret technical specifications and liaise with suppliers, acting as a key representative at customer review meetings.
8. Support the production, test, and field engineering teams, providing expert guidance and assistance.

What You Will Bring:

1. A degree in a relevant engineering discipline, showcasing your foundation of knowledge.
2. Proven experience in the design, testing, and development of PLC Electrical control systems, ideally within medium to heavy engineering environments.
3. Expertise in 3D CAD design and a track record of leading projects from concept to production.
4. Experience in developing control systems for heavy hydraulically-operated vehicles would be advantageous.
5. Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and analysis tools, coupled with a methodical approach and great analytical skills.

Location:

Based at the UK head office in Stockport, you'll be positioned in a strategic location that blends excellent connectivity with a rich industrial heritage. The role will have a hybrid working structure with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
