About Our Client
Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:
- Lead the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Manage a team of 3 finance professionals, providing mentorship and development.
- Partner with operational managers to analyse performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Oversee cash flow management and forecasting.
- Drive the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts.
- Develop and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
- Prepare board reports and presentations for senior leadership.
Required Skills and Experience of the Finance Manager:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel and ERP system knowledge.
- Experience managing and developing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities.
