Job Title: Player/Manager – Sales Manager

Location: Remote

Salary: Up to £55,000 + OTE

Role Overview:

Our client is looking for a dynamic Player/Manager to combine hands-on sales with leadership responsibilities. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional who can drive revenue while managing a small team, ensuring high performance and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Account Managers and SDRs, setting targets and driving results.
  • Maintain a personal sales quota, actively engaging in high-value sales activities.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to enhance team performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing, commercial, and operations teams to optimise sales efforts.
  • Promote company values, fostering a culture of innovation and empowerment.
  • Utilise AI tools and data-driven insights to improve sales efficiency and customer engagement.
  • Track performance metrics and report regularly to senior leadership.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a player/manager sales role, ideally within technology, distribution, or B2B sectors.
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach.
  • Ability to drive both individual and team sales performance.
  • Experience in coaching and developing sales professionals.
  • Strong business acumen, with expertise in negotiating and closing high-value deals.
  • Proficiency in AI-driven sales technology.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and commercially focused.
