Experience in CNC machine tools and strong mechanical/electrical maintenance skills.
Qualifications from a recognized body and NVQ level 3 or equivalent.

Perform reactive maintenance on heavy plant machinery and work from engineering drawings.
Install and commission machinery while executing PPMs and line improvements.

Orion is partnered with a fast-paced, heavy industrial manufacturing company located in Kidderminster. We are recruiting for a confident and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Duties:

Reactive maintenance of medium & heavy plant machinery – CNC, die casting machines, mills, compactors, pelletizers, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, sensors, relays, etc.
Work from engineering drawings
Machinery installation & commissioning
PPMs
Line improvement tasks
Fault finding using PLCs
Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Required Experience:

CNC machine tool knowledge and experience
Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance of production machinery
Machinery installation
Machinery commissioning
PPMs & reactive maintenance in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
Mechanical and/or electrical qualifications from a recognised body
NVQ level 3 or BTEC L3 or equivalent
Electrical fault-finding skills
PLC experience
Machinery maintenance (PPMs and reactive)
Both mechanical & electrical machinery maintenance
FMCG or heavy industrial machinery experience
Continuous improvement projects
Strong communication skills

Friday 6pm – 6am

Saturday 6pm – 6am

Sunday 6pm – 4am
