Salary: £18.19 per hour (41'618k per annum)
We are currently recruiting for a number of Welders for positions based in Lostock, Bolton.
Our client is one of the largest and most successful steel-work contractors in the UK, and they have recently won a large amount of work, so they are looking to extend their workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Weld using FCMAW in all positions.
- Weld using MAG in all positions.
- Perform air arc gouging.
- Sub arc welding is advantageous but not necessary.
- Prepare for and complete a weld test on-site.
Shifts:
Day Shifts - Monday to Thursday - 6.45am-5pm and Friday - 6.45am-11.45am
Overtime rates available.
Candidates must be prepared to go on site for a weld test which will include:
- 1x vertical 10fw with FCMAW
- 1x down hand butt weld with MAG
- 1x 10fw with MAG
Note: This position is subject to a Drugs & Alcohol test.
