Product Manager - Multi-Boutique Asset Manager

We are partnered with an impressive and rapidly growing Global Investment Management firm with a multi-boutique model. Due to thriving business demands, they are seeking a Product Manager to join the London office. In this newly created role, you will liaise with the investment teams of the relevant boutiques, execute and manage the development of new products through to launch.

Main Responsibilities:

• Co-ordination and development of investment funds from initial stages to launch (including product specifications and project management with various internal and external stakeholders)
• Preparation of fund governance / disclosure documents and associated forms
• Co-ordination of disclosure document verification
• Registration of fund with regulators to enable offer in applicable jurisdictions
• Annual review of disclosure documents
• Management and oversight of certain fund obligations (e.g. reporting, liquidity management, consents to be named)
• Preparation of investor correspondence
• Management of compliance and international investor queries
• Research and analysis of client needs, market and competitor trends
• Preparation of board papers to support establishment or updates to funds
• Liaison with offshore consultants / agents and co-ordination of obligations with compliance
• Co-ordinate and manage fund wind ups

Desired Attributes and Skills:

• 3-7 years Product specific experience within product governance, development, management and/or fund governance/compliance
• Relevant tertiary qualifications e.g., IOC, CFA, IOQ or equivalent
• Extensive knowledge of product development and management processes within the funds management industry
• Previous experience with Irish domiciles (ICAVs) essential, and additional experience with a range of EU and global fund vehicles desired but not essential
• Previous experience dealing with different global jurisdictions
• Working knowledge of investment markets including asset class performance trends
• Working knowledge of the compliance requirements for product
• Excellent project management skills
• Sound organisational and communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
