Role: Junior Solution Architect

Location: London (2 - 3 days in office)

As a Junior Solution Architect, you will work closely with senior architects and development teams to translate business needs into technical designs. You will assist in developing solution architectures, ensuring alignment with best practices, and contributing to the seamless integration of software components.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and documenting software architectures for modern applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Support the development of technology roadmaps aligned with strategic goals.
• Contribute to system integration strategies, ensuring smooth interoperability and scalability.
• Work with implementation teams to maintain adherence to architectural principles.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and performance standards.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the project lifecycle.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of experience in software development or architecture-related roles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and modern software development practices.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Azure Fundamentals.
• Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
