Job description

Senior Business Development Specialist opportunity in a popular US law firm. London based with hybrid working. EMEA focus. Paying up to £63,000.

This popular US law firm, with a well-established team in London, is looking for a Senior BD Specialist to join their team. The role will take ownership of the Antitrust practice in the UK as well as support wider competition/antitrust across EMEA. This will be in collaboration with offices in Germany, France, and Italy, as well as looking at wider jurisdictional growth. The Senior Business Development Specialist will have high partner exposure and will run BD meetings, and they expect the role could grow into a BD Manager role in the next 1-2 years.

Duties will include:
  1. Acting as first point of contact for fee earners regarding BD matters.
  2. Developing collateral such as campaign materials, credentials, pitch slides, etc.
  3. Researching clients, markets, and sectors.
  4. Supporting on cross-selling initiatives across practice groups.
Candidate requirements:
  1. 5 years of legal BD experience.
  2. Legal experience or relevant professional services experience.
  3. A European language would be helpful, especially French, Italian, and German.
  4. Knowledge of competition law would be helpful.
  5. Confident with senior stakeholders.
