The Program Manager, Afghanistan Programs will oversee Internews’ program, with responsibility for establishing and implementing tactical and operational plans for program support, grants management, and financial management. The Program Manager will lead strategy and program implementation, serve as a Budget Authority for partner subgrants, provide financial oversight, and coordinate with other members of the Asia Program Management Unit to manage elements of the budget. Candidates should have experience managing complex projects in a conflict or post-conflict context and have particularly strong skills in U.S. government and/or European Commission (EC) compliance, subgrant and budget management.
LOGISTICS
Internews has offices in Arcata, CA, Washington, DC, and London, UK which support a hybrid workforce with staff working remotely, fully in-office, or partially remote. This is a remote-based role. Our ideal candidate is based in the US; candidates based in the UK will also be considered.

The annual salary range for this position is US $98,600 – US $128,200. Please note that this salary range applies to US-based candidates only. Learn more about US benefits on our page. For candidates based outside the US, the engagement mechanism, benefits eligibility, and salary structure that apply will ultimately be based on multiple factors and will be reviewed during the hiring process.
