Job Title: Police Trainer PPST HC620114
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Temporary until March 2027

This is a really exciting opportunity to work within the team that delivers Public and Personal Training to the Officers and Staff of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary. The recent uplift in Police Officers within the two counties, together with additional training requirements set by the College of Policing has meant that our team of PPST trainers needs to expand. Primarily based at Netley - but with opportunities to support officers around the County, you will be a motivated individual able to work as part of a busy team.
Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Educated to QCF Level 3 with Maths & English at QCF Level 2, possess a nationally recognised learning and development qualification plus proven experience e.g. Certificate in Training Practice, Level 3 Learning and Development (Learning & Development Qualifications Curriculum Framework (QCF) 30 Credits minimum), or to have undertaken significant work-related experience that may be deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level.
HSE First Aid at work qualification.
Able to demonstrate current competence in subject matter area.
Experience in Training needs analysis, design, delivery, assessment and evaluation of training.
Sound knowledge of law, policy and practice in the field of anti-discrimination (e.g. Equality Act 2010).
