Production Supervisor

Robertson Recruitment are looking for a production supervisor to support and oversee operations across the business on the night shifts and be the go-to person for production organisation planning and implementation. You will have 20-30 direct workers and play a critical part in the company's success moving forward. After a successful 6 month probation your salary will be reviewed and increased.

Working hours

Sunday to Thursday. 21:30 - 6:30 (overtime and 1 Friday Shift (per month) will be required). 30 minute break.

Production supervisor duties

• Experience with dangerous machinery, FLT movement, production in and out
• Contribute to setting of department objectives, targets and KPIs
• Must be able to cover Team Leader absences so flexibility is required
• Ensure adequate staffing levels, support in recruitment activities, training and development and support in HR related matters such as appraisals, attendance, and disciplinary issues
• Managing shift patterns and working with team leaders to ensure they are properly resourced throughout the year with a closer focus during holiday periods.
• Manage the production process and assign the team to optimise service establishing a disciplined and organised working environment where openness, ideas, suggestions and collaboration for continuous improvement are encouraged.
