Learning Support Assistant Secondary School in the New Forest Area
Full-time Permanent contract offered after successful probation

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs.
• Offer general classroom support, working alongside teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with differentiating tasks and adapting resources to ensure accessibility for all learners.
• Promote positive behaviour and well-being, offering emotional and academic support to help students build confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with the school s SENDCo, teachers, and pastoral team to monitor student progress and contribute to support plans.

What We re Looking For:

• A caring and empathetic individual with a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
• Experience working with children or young people with additional needs (e.g., Autism, ADHD, SEMH) is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to adapt to changing classroom needs.
• A willingness to learn and develop through training and support.
