Finance Manager in High Wycombe)

A fantastic role has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a successful Retail company based in High Wycombe. This role offers hybrid working options and excellent progression opportunities.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the team in delivering month-end process, preparing and analysing month-end profit and loss statements with insightful variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year.
2. Take responsibility for providing the monthly flash forecast and delivering the annual budget and quarterly forecast, including reviewing and challenging relevant budget holders.
3. Ensure strict adherence to group policies by overseeing day-to-day business cost management and reporting and maintaining strong balance sheet controls.
4. Take ownership of IFRS16 compliance, maintaining robust accounting and budgetary controls, and serving as the primary contact for Group Finance regarding the lease accounting.
5. Manage internal and external audit requirements for your areas.
6. Provide support on any ad hoc corporate or departmental initiatives, projects or tenders as needed.
7. Drive a strong business partnering ethos in the team taking ownership for conducting monthly meetings with head of departments to discuss results, risks and opportunities.
8. This involves implementing streamlined processes, leveraging technology for routine tasks, and fostering a culture that values data-driven decision-making.
9. Manage 3 Analysts.

Requirements:

1. ACCA/CIMA qualified or qualified by experience, ideally Retail or FMCG background
2. Previous Line Management experience
3. Knowledge of IFRS16 would be desirable
