The hotel has just finished in 2022 a transformational refurbishment, updating all of its Food & Beverage outlets, Bedrooms, Public Areas and Meeting Space.

Principle responsibilities and position purpose:

As a Groups, Conference & Events Planning Executive, you will be contributing to the success of the GCE Sales & Planning team by covering various administrative roles, such as:

  1. Receiving handovers from the sales team and handling the planning for meetings and events.
  2. Creating floorplans, contract addendums & pro-forma invoices
  3. Conducting event planning meetings and site visits prior to the event taking place
  4. Leading Pre-con meetings as and when required
  5. Upselling additional hotel services where possible.
  6. Building good relationships with our clients
  7. Creating daily, weekly and monthly reports as per instructions
  8. Loading data into various Platforms – Delphi & OnQ
  9. Managing Hilton Honour Points for Clients
  10. Building and maintaining good relationships with Operations Team, Kitchen Team, Front Office Team, and all other areas of the hotel

Specific job knowledge, skill and ability:

  1. Working experience in a hotel – basic knowledge of department & revenue structure
  2. IT & tech savvy – able to work with various software
  3. Positive attitude and good communication skills
  4. Commitment to deliver high level of accuracy
  5. Excellent grooming standards
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
