About the Role

Our client – a global leader in technology and innovation – is looking for a strategic and hands-on Talent Acquisition Lead to join their team in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping and scaling the recruitment function within a dynamic and fast-paced R&D environment.

You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing a structured, data-driven recruitment process to secure top talent across technical and non-technical domains. This role requires close collaboration with HR Business Partners, department heads, and internal stakeholders to ensure recruitment efforts are aligned with business goals and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Lead and continuously improve the sourcing, screening, interview, and hiring process
  • Partner with HR and hiring managers to ensure best-in-class hiring practices and consistent processes
  • Champion the use of internal recruitment systems to enhance efficiency and pipeline visibility
  • Ensure full GDPR compliance across all recruitment activities
  • Leverage recruitment analytics and insights to forecast talent needs and drive smarter hiring decisions
  • Enhance the overall candidate experience while reducing time-to-hire and cost-per-hire

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of in-house or agency recruitment experience (ICT or semiconductor industry preferred)
  • Proven experience designing and implementing scalable recruitment frameworks
  • Strong analytical skills and experience tracking and optimising recruitment KPIs (e.g., time to fill, cost per hire)
  • Hands-on experience with recruitment systemisation and process improvement
  • Ability to lead both high-volume and executive/niche hiring strategies
  • Strong leadership skills – able to coach, support, and develop internal TA teams
  • Mandarin language skills are a plus, but not essential
