Regional Manufacturing Manager Advert - North
Job Summary
We are currently looking for an experienced Regional Manufacturing Manager to provide clear and strong professional leadership within the North of England. This is a vital role within the NHS Blood and Transplant – we are working to save and improve lives on a daily basis, and have to be certain that every aspect of our work is undertaken in precisely the right way in order to ensure that people’s lives are in good hands.
You will report to the Regional Operations Manager for the North and be a key member of the North Senior Management Team to deliver and develop the Operational strategy & service across NHSBT. You will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering an efficient, cost effective, high throughput Manufacturing Department. This will involve maintaining regulatory compliance by monitoring all associated systems and processes ensuring that any failures are analysed and corrective action is initiated and validated in a timely fashion.
You will be required to manage the staff and budget for the Regional Manufacturing team, as well as contributing to the development of our wider national future service improvement plans.
This is a high profile and complex role, requiring advanced communication skills, strong management and leadership skills, and a professional approach to working life. Just as important is a strong background in Manufacturing, with significant experience of working in a healthcare regulated environment.
