Senior Software Engineer - Backend

Location: London Speechmark Office + *Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

What you’ll do

• You will have hands on development of microservices as part of a development squad using Scrum/Kanban.
• You will be driving the quality and performance of owned microservices using standards and best practices.
• You will be establishing a culture of continuous improvement through learning, training, and coaching.
• You will be ensuring quality is at the heart of everything you and your team does.

Who you are

• You will have deep knowledge of Java and Spring Framework.
• You will be designing and developing RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.
• You will have agile practices and development through BDD/TDD, using associated tools for testing and continuous integration & deployment.
• You will have experience with AWS (or other Cloud Providers).
• You will support and coach junior developers.
