An opportunity for budding software engineers who have achieved, or are on course to obtaining, first-class degrees or PhDs in Computer Science or Physics. This position offers career development in an environment that encourages people to take ownership of projects involving cyber security and the latest communication systems, for exacting UK government clients.
A variety of development and implementation projects are available and you may have the chance to take on new coding languages such as Rust, as well as continuing to expand your skills in C and C++. The work could involve innovative image analysis applications, digital signal processing, or developing Software Development Kits that allow clients to easily implement solutions.
The team is collaborative in nature, and you would be working with a group of highly skilled engineers and scientists, intent on maintaining top levels of performance and service to their clients.
Please note: due to the defence-related nature of our client’s work, only UK citizens able to achieve a high level of security clearance can be considered.
Security and in-person collaboration are important to the company, so the work is based at their offices and labs; however, some flexibility is available around their core hours of work (10 am - 4 pm).
