About Our Client

Our client is a medium sized business based in Leicestershire, they have an immediate requirement to recruit a professional and proven Management Accountant into their team.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and submitting monthly management accounts for review by the Board of Directors.
  • Conducting in-depth analysis of financial data and presenting insights to the management team.
  • Collaborating with external auditors to facilitate the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
  • Gathering and submitting weekly and monthly payroll data to our third-party payroll provider.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial controls and procedures.
  • Maintaining and reconciling the balance sheet, including the management of fixed asset registers.
  • Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns, annual P11Ds, and PSA returns to HMRC.
  • Assisting with the development of monthly cost centre reviews.
  • Acting as a deputy for the Financial Controller as needed.


The Successful Applicant

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA Part Qualified or QBE
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of recent experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently to deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
