Job description

A well-established veterinary hospital is seeking an additional First Opinion Veterinary Surgeon to join the dedicated team at its RCVS-accredited facility. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a progressive, enthusiastic, and highly committed team that delivers a seamless 24/7 service to valued clients in a friendly and supportive environment.

Work Pattern: Four-day week with one nine-hour weekend shift (Saturday OR Sunday) every five weeks, plus one bank holiday shift per year, promoting an excellent work-life balance. Part-time applications would be considered.

Hours: 38.1 hours per week (including weekend and bank holiday shifts)

On-Call: None, as a dedicated night service is in place.

  • Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (pro rata), reflective of experience.
