Job Description

Electrical Estimator required for our client, a building services provider who operate throughout the West Midlands.

The Electrical Estimator will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, and the Bid team to deliver precise electrical estimates for projects ranging from £300,000 to £5 million.

Duties would include:

1. Reviewing tender documents, drawings and specifications
2. Communicating with clients regarding queries and tenders
3. Preparing comprehensive quantity take-offs and detailed material costing sheets
4. Engaging in negotiations with suppliers and specialist subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and contract sums
5. Proposing value engineering solutions when necessary
6. Compiling material lists and procuring materials for awarded contracts

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience
• Car allowance £6,000

Job Requirements

• Strong Electrical knowledge
• Electrical qualifications such as 18th edition, 2391 and/or an NVQ level 3 advantageous
• Mechanical Knowledge - Advantageous
• Experience estimating Electrical projects from circa £300k to £5m in value
• Live within commutable distance of Wolverhampton
• Full UK Driving Licence
