A well-respected specialist school near Guildford is looking for a Graduate Aspiring Child Psychologist to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students range between 10 and 16 years old and face a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs, including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioral issues. The students therefore need an Intervention and Pastoral Assistant who will be dedicated to being a consistent role model, committed to building strong relationships, empathetic, and up for a challenge! The school is located in the beautiful Surrey Hills of Guildford and has on-site parking.

The ideal candidate must be open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health. The perfect candidate will have experience with SEN children and/or adults in any setting. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Counseling would also be perfect for this position.

Details:

1. Start date: ASAP
2. Salary: £85-100 per day
3. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4pm, term time only
4. Excellent on-site education and training, support, and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students
5. You MUST have the right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship
6. Must be able to travel to Guildford and surrounding areas
