A new opportunity has become available for a Heavy Plant Fitter to join a reputable construction company, working within a busy workshop and attending site breakdowns across London & surrounding areas. You will be working on heavy plant equipment such as Diggers, Dumpers, and Excavators, around 35 tonnes.

The Company:

You will be joining a national construction company that provides its customers with various types of services such as groundworks, civils, demolition and more. Due to their ongoing success, they are looking to add a Heavy Plant Fitter to their established and stable team.

The Role of the Heavy Plant Fitter:

1. Attend site breakdowns, carry out fault finding, and repairs, along with routine service and maintenance on plant machinery including diggers, dumpers, and telehandlers.
2. Liaise with the parts department and ensure all compliance paperwork is completed accurately.
3. Adhere to health and safety requirements and ensure your workplace and van are clean and tidy at all times.

Key Skills as the Heavy Plant Fitter:

1. Previous experience working in a similar role e.g. Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Heavy Plant Engineer, Mobile Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer, or Service Engineer.
2. A driving licence is essential.
