The Business – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
The legal sector is one that will always be booming. Whether there is a good or bad economy, people will always invest in good lawyers, meaning recruiting into the area will always be busy.
This firm specialise in 4 areas of law, including Corporate, Investment Funds, Banking & Finance, and ESG. You will come in and specialise within a certain area, and eventually grow to know all within that area.
The firm currently focus on the London market and are one of the best-known agencies in their space. They plan on growing out into the US markets and opening a New York office in the next two years, which will offer relocation packages if you wish.
The Benefits – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Starting salary of £28k, rising to £30k after your first promotion (6-12 months)
- Uncapped commission structure rising to 40%
- OTE in year one of £50k, year two of £60k, year three of £75k+

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Winning new clients through business development
- Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their hiring requirements
- Sourcing excellent talent through headhunting on LinkedIn
- Interviewing candidates and matching them with your clients
- Managing the end-to-end interview process, handling any reservations, and accurately advising your clients and candidates
- Negotiating the right package for your candidates at offer stage
- Following up on any business leads
- Consistently working to hit and exceed your personal targets
