Pharmacist Manager/Superintendent Pharmacist

Evolve is working with a brand-new client – a well-established independent pharmacy in North London, dispensing circa 7000 items per month and providing prescriptions, OTC Medicines and health advice.

Our client is seeking a dedicated and reliable Pharmacist Manager on a full time, permanent basis to run the pharmacy and lead their team effectively as soon as possible. Ideally working 30 hours over 5 days, Monday to Friday (9am to 9pm), and two Saturdays a month (9am to 9pm).

Ideal backgrounds for the Pharmacist Manager:

• GPhC registered Pharmacist.
• Independent Prescribing qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Must have experience as a Pharmacy Manager or Superintendent Pharmacist background.

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist Manager:

• Dispense prescriptions per regulations and contracts.
• Review GP orders, correct errors, and prepare medications (compounding, packaging, labelling).
• Monitor drug therapies, advise on interventions, ensure accurate dosages, and safe supply.
• Supervise and lead the pharmacy team and manage pharmacy operations.
• Provide pharmacological information and counsel patients.
• Comply with NHS and GPhC regulations.
• Maintain controlled drug registers and oversee dosette box preparation.
• Advise on minor ailments and conduct medicine reviews.
