Financial Planning Lead

Gresham Hunt are pleased to be supporting a Global Insurance business with the hire of a Financial Planning Analyst/Manager to sit in one of their UK entities. As the Financial Planning Analyst, you will take responsibility for all capital planning, SER calculations, and presentation of MI to the business. This is a hybrid role based out of their EC3 office and offers a great step up for those looking to achieve more seniority and stakeholder engagement.

To succeed in this role, you will be post-qualified within the FP&A team of an insurance business. You will have a critical mindset and an ability to extract and explain data to financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the main point of contact for all matters related to forecasting and financial planning, ensuring planning models are continuously updated and optimized.
  2. Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain financial and capital forecasts that align with strategic business goals.
  3. Support the identification and implementation of process and system improvements to enhance forecasting and planning accuracy across the company.
  4. Create and deliver financial performance reports and presentations to stakeholders, providing clear insights into business results.
  5. Perform scenario analysis to help guide decision-making and offer management informed options for potential outcomes.
