Platform Recruitment has partnered with a leading provider of power electronics solutions. They are looking to recruit a Buyer to join their team. You will perform various purchasing assignments and activities to support daily material needs with limited supervision.
Main Duties:
Coordinating purchasing activities to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner
Acquiring technical understanding of products purchased
Obtaining materials using RFQ, negotiation, and cost analysis techniques
Maximizing material availability while minimizing inventory
Key Skills:
At least 3 -5 years in Purchasing/Planning environment
Experience in a fast paced, high mix/low volume purchasing environment
Previous experience in electronics purchasing
Salary/Location:
The salary for this position is £35k-£45k, depending on experience
This role is based in West Sussex, onsite 5 days per week
