IT Project Manager Enterprise Application Banking

A leading Professional Services organisation is seeking an IT Project Manager with previous Developer experience on a contract basis. You will be required to work onsite in Belfast 3 days a week (with relocation allowance at discretion). This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Consultancy working with their Tier 1 Investment Banking client on a high profile programme. This programme will give you the opportunity to develop your technical skills working as part of a global team, whilst also helping our client to enable growth in one of their key businesses.

Key Skills & Experience

• Hands on development experience in any programming languages including Java or C# (minimum 1 year) on enterprise application software.
• Project Management experience.

What you will do:

• Lead and oversee the strategic direction, development and implementation of IT policy and standard requirements.
• Implement IT governance model, create project plans, track and report. Ownership of systems and applications including lifecycle management.
• Partner with IT Risk and Control teams to assess gaps and identify remediation plans.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Wide IT Risk Management framework and Risk and Control processes.
• Track record of delivering and managing large projects across multiple businesses and geographies.
• Strategic thinker with proven ability to lead global teams in a large organisation.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering change in a collaborative, agile team environment as well as more standard frameworks.
• Ability to monitor tight deadlines, or unexpected requirement changes.
• Support the Operations line team with their test preparation and execution.
• Leads the identification and drives resolution of issues, including those outside of the immediate workstream within their remit.
• Drives adherence to project processes, procedures, methods, and standards for project delivery as defined by IT Leadership.

• Demonstrate a consistent track record having worked as an IT Project Manager managing teams and delivery on large, strategic cross-functional projects.
