Qpoint delivers an External Quality Assessment service specifically designed for users of point of care testing equipment. Delivered by NHS professionals, our friendly team sends regular test samples and reports, offering advice and guidance to enable service users to produce the highest quality results from their point of care testing equipment.
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and well-motivated individual to complement our multidisciplinary team to deliver the Qpoint External Quality Assessment Schemes. The job role will be within normal business hours, Monday to Friday, and based in Aldershot Centre for Health.
Essential qualities expected are efficiency, being well organized, having good communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, and good keyboard skills. In addition, you should be a reliable individual who can demonstrate good practical skills and work as part of a team. You must be keen to embrace new ways of working and develop your knowledge and skills. Support and encouragement will be given for career development.
You will be expected to work according to our working time compliant shift system as specified above and may be required to work at the Wexham Park Hospital site on rare occasions to maintain quality, training, and service requirements.
The post holder will assist in the preparation of testing samples and administrate all aspects of the scheme under the supervision of a HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist. The post holder is required to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times for any tasks carried out. There is a requirement to communicate with service users, pathology staff, hospital staff, porters, drivers, and couriers.
