Overview Of Role

Rothamsted Enterprises Ltd is at the forefront of agri-tech enterprises on the globally recognised Rothamsted campus. The business is now entering an exciting new phase of growth, at the heart of an expanding Rothamsted holistic campus vision.

We are looking for a qualified AAT level 3 Bookkeeper who will be critical to the success of this vision, supporting and working closely with the Accountant and the Financial Controller.

As part of our finance team, the Bookkeeper is the primary contact for the organisation's clients and suppliers, ensuring invoicing and purchasing processes operate smoothly and effectively.

The role holder will be responsible for undertaking a variety of financial administration tasks. They will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high standards of financial management are maintained within the business and be able to carry out the daily financial tasks required in operating a commercial business.

A successful candidate will have a good eye for detail, work as part of a team, and be able to prioritise their workload based on the needs of the business. An understanding of financial systems is desirable but not essential to the role; however, a candidate will require a good understanding of basic Microsoft Office systems, specifically Excel.

This is a full-time permanent position working 37 hours per week on site, attracting a salary of £31,000 per annum.
