Role Overview:

As an Event Manager at Boston Shakers, you’ll play a key role in prepping and running events throughout the summer. You’ll be the main point of contact for event organisers, coordinating logistics, and ensuring that every event goes off without a hitch. You’ll also lead our team on-site, ensuring we maintain our signature fun and high-energy vibe while delivering exceptional service and creating amazing memories for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-Event Preparation:
• Liaise with event organisers to confirm event details and ensure all requirements are met.
• Assist in event logistics, ensuring everything is in place ahead of time to set the stage for a successful event.
• Event Execution:
• Lead and motivate the team on-site, ensuring a seamless flow and energetic atmosphere.
• Oversee the guest experience, ensuring that everyone is enjoying the vibe and has a great time.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise, keeping everything running smoothly.
• Post-Event:
• Manage event breakdown and ensure everything is cleared and packed up efficiently.
• Provide feedback and report on event success, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in event management, ideally in hospitality, festivals, or similar industries.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience and knowledge of cocktail preparation and bar management.
• Ability to stay calm and solution-oriented under pressure, maintaining a positive and energetic vibe.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to drive to event locations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
