Health and Safety Manager - Slough

Position: Health and Safety Manager
Location: Slough, Berkshire
Duration: 6 Months
Day Rate: £350 - £450 per day
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager for an exciting RC frame project based in Slough. This role offers a competitive day rate and is ideal for someone with a strong background in health and safety management, particularly within the construction and civil engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of health and safety on-site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Risk assessments, method statements, and safety audits.
• Lead safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Monitor the implementation of health and safety policies and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Investigate any accidents or near misses, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure safety standards are met.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification in health and safety.
• Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager on construction sites.
• Civils experience and understanding, particularly with RC frame projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage health and safety protocols effectively.
