About the Role:

Do you want to earn a minimum of £14.40 per hour? We’re looking for a Quality Auditor to join our team at our site in Brackley, Northamptonshire.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday

Monday-Thursday 05:30-14:30, Friday 05:30-14:45 (Flexible as required)

About the role:

As a Quality Auditor, you’ll be responsible for the auditing of all primary activities to ensure product safety/quality/legality through effective welfare procedures, HACCP and quality systems. You will also support the management and continuous improvement of primary areas and the employees working in them, ensuring products meet and exceed customer expectations.

  • Understand and adhere to food safety/quality and health & safety standards, policies and procedures, ensuring the safe, ethical and legal production of food.
  • Provide technical support to production ensuring product is consistently produced to the agreed quality standards and specifications.
  • Monitor, challenge standards and continually develop the function ensuring good custom and practice in welfare, biosecurity, food safety and quality, GMP, hygiene and maintenance.
  • Effectively problem solve to root cause when product or processes deviate from the agreed standard including investigations on iAuditor.
  • Verify the procedures detailed within the Quality Management System and HACCP manual are in place and actively adhered to, safeguarding the continuous accreditation to BRC ensuring all paperwork is completed fully, legibly and accurately to ensure due diligence.
  • Liaise with external governing bodies (e.g. the Official Veterinarian).
  • Complete internal audits and inspections as part of the schedule.
  • Monitor and make recommendations regarding the pest control system to ensure Company and Legislative requirements are met.
  • Carry out effective product and hygiene tests, recording data and ensuring corrective action is taken.
