Salary: Up to £61,750
Working Hours: Monday – Friday day shift (Some on-call required)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic to join the team based in the Bishops Stortford area. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of HGV vehicles / Plant with specialised mounted equipment on, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy. Training will be provided for the specialised equipment.

This is a full-time HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician position offering a competitive salary of up to £25.00ph which also includes a fully equipped company van.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on HGV vehicles/Plant (15-18 tonne) as well as specialised mounted equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out MOT preparations and ensure vehicles meet compliance standards.
• Cover breakdowns with occasional on-call.
• Complete all work to a high standard and in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
