Front End Developer

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Front End Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user-friendly web applications that enhance the user experience. You will work closely with back-end developers and other team members to create seamless and efficient systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of web technologies and a passion for delivering high-quality code.

The Company
We are an exciting Tech Start-Up in the process of building a revolutionary platform to level out the recruitment industry. We already have a team of awesome founding team who have built over half of our MVP, and we are looking for a Front End Developer to join us.

During the first 3 months, we are offering equity in exchange for approx 10hrs a week to get the first phase done which will then trigger our funding to enable us to employ everyone full-time. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using HTML, SCSS, Java, and PHP.
• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into functional web applications.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Integrate with back-end services using RESTful APIs and SOAP protocols.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, providing timely resolutions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with system architecture design is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with RESTful services and SOAP APIs is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AWS is a bonus.
• Must have Spring Boot experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £46,802.00-£50,713.00 per year
