Architect/Architectural Designer

Our client is a small practice in east London that works on sectors including Commercial, Retail, Masterplanning, Mixed Use, Residential, Office and Industrial. They are now seeking an Architect / Architectural Designer / Technologist to join their team. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience and excellent problem-solving skills, keen to both run their own projects and support other team members.

Expect to be an active member of the team supporting their most important clients, and contributing to their development. You'll be joining a friendly and collaborative practice, working on fast moving projects primarily at planning and delivery stages.

Key Requirements

You should be a pragmatic, versatile, attentive and organised professional with a CV that highlights:

1. You are an Architect / Architectural Designer / Technologist with a minimum of 5 years industry experience in the UK;
2. Experience of playing an active role in live projects and coordinating the work of different disciplines;
3. A comprehensive understanding of UK building regulations and compliance issues;
4. Experience in at least two sectors (preferably including commercial / retail);
5. First class communication skills (fluent English - written & spoken);
6. The ability to visualise, illustrate and present ideas clearly;
7. Good technical and practical problem-solving skills;
8. Willingness to learn and take on responsibility;
9. Excellent Revit, AutoCAD and Sketchup skills;
10. Experience in technical / delivery RIBA stages 3-6.

This role will be office-based to start with but over time there will be the opportunity for hybrid working. No Visa sponsorship will be offered.
