Contracts Manager

Island Roads, a key partner in the Isle of Wight's Highways PFI, is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team and help maintain and improve the island’s road network. This role is essential to delivering our long-term mission to enhance infrastructure for both residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure contract performance aligns with agreed budgets.
  2. Promote a culture of safety across all operations, including conducting monthly safety audits.
  3. Lead programming and planning to ensure seamless service delivery.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  5. Ensure financial governance with accurate, timely reporting.
  6. Manage subcontractors and supply chain partners.
  7. Develop team skills and enhance overall performance.

Qualifications:

  1. ONC/City & Guilds/NVQ in relevant discipline/NRSWA-accredited (Supervisor).
  2. Experience with Microsoft Office and highway maintenance software such as Confirm and Kheops.
  3. Strong written and report writing skills.
  4. High attention to detail and accuracy.
