Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for a Facade Design Manager at CladUp Design Ltd. The Facade Design Manager will be responsible for:
Overseeing the delivery of design projects, including shop drawings and coordination of facade details with trade contractors.
Preparing system drawings and scheduling materials for facade systems.
Providing technical advice to installers on-site to ensure flawless execution of facade designs.
Managing the design process to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
Qualifications
Must have excellent written and fluent verbal English communication skills.
Minimum 6 years of experience in facade design, with expertise in rainscreen cladding, windows, and curtain walling.
Proficiency in using materials like cladding, aluminum windows, curtain walling, composite panels, and steel frame systems (SFS).
Ability to create detailed system drawings and sketches.
Experience reviewing specifications and providing technical feedback on engineer’s drawings.
Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods to conduct quality assurance checks on manufacturing drawings.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Prior experience working remotely is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
