The 9-partner firm, based in central London, offers a wide range of accounting and business advisory services, with the focus being a general practice accounting and tax firm. The firm works across a large range of client sectors, including property, entertainment, financial services, health, professional services, hospitality and charities. The audit and accounts team currently has over 30 team members ranging from part-qualified to over 25 years of experience.

Your new role

The firm are looking for an energetic, proactive, and strong-written communicator, verbally and written, to join their Audit and Accounts team as a Senior. The role will predominantly be leading the audit fieldwork or accountancy fieldwork on discreet assignments, with the opportunity to also get involved in training juniors to develop people management skills whilst also working with the qualified wider team.

What you'll need to succeed

1. ACA or ACCA qualified
2. 30-50% Audit experience plus training.
3. Experience of substantive testing approach (not control testing) to audit.
4. Caseware working knowledge advantageous.

• Working week is a 35-hour core week, an opportunity after probation to increase core hours for a pro-rata increase in salary to 37.5 or 40 hours per week depending on business needs
