Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Wood Panels

Industry Sector: Panels, Building Products, Building Materials, Interiors, MDF, Chipboard, Flooring, KBB, Builders Merchants

Areas to be covered: Midlands & South (based between London, Oxford & Birmingham)

Remuneration: £48,000 - £60,000 + 10% bonus

Benefits: Fully expensed company car & full benefits

Role Responsibilities:

1. Field sales position selling a manufactured range of wood-based panels for the construction/interior sector
2. All of your time will be spent selling through distributors, builder merchants, and buying groups such as Jewson & Travis Perkins
3. Project values can vary from £500-£25k+ depending on size and scope
4. Will be required to present to customers
5. Regular upkeep on CRM system
6. Utilise Barbour ABI system
7. Account management of existing accounts and generating new business

Ideal Applicant:

1. Must have construction field sales experience
2. Must have sold to builder merchants/distributors
3. Must have stability in your career
4. Open in terms of products sold; ideally interior or wood related
5. Must be a critical thinker and analytical in your approach
6. Must be IT literate and comfortable with CRM systems
