Company: Starbucks - Design
As a Senior Concept Designer - Art, Graphics and Branded Environments, you will help steer the future of our brand's narrative, communicating our brand stories in over 4000 Starbucks stores through art, storytelling, and branding to deliver meaningful change for communities near and far. You are organized, confident, and articulate, able to deliver information to a variety of stakeholders through compelling storytelling.
You will thrive working in a fast-paced environment on a huge variety of projects that will be key to the future innovation of our in-store experience.
Working with the senior design manager for EMEA concepts, you will be the subject matter expert when it comes to art, graphics, and branding of our store environments, with the responsibility of commissioning new artists and coaching the wider store design team on graphical principles.
Whilst passionate about the finer details of art curation, you will also possess the ability to step back and look strategically at the wider brand impact across the EMEA business. In this role, you will be conversant and knowledgeable in art industry trends, proactively championing leading and emerging artistic talent. You will be comfortable working autonomously at times; this is a specialized role with the opportunity to navigate complex but rewarding workstreams, and you must have the confidence to challenge the status quo.
Working with a team of designers, you'll be responsible for building team knowledge and experience in graphic design, environmental graphics, typography, and illustration and its application in relation to a 3D branded environment. Experience in commissioning artwork/murals/illustrations, art direction, managing design consultants, and connections within the world of art and artists is essential.
Joining Starbucks, you’ll be part of a business that is on a transformation journey, so managing ambiguity is key. Your future will be yours to make your own; you can make an impact across the organization from day one.
