The Best Connection are looking for multiple Warehouse Assistants from June 2024 for our client based in Crawley who cater and supply food services to London Gatwick Airport.

ROLE: Warehouse Assistant

SALARY: £11.96

SHIFTS: 4 on 2 off, shifts between 0600-2300.

BENEFITS: Free on-site meals, training and uniform provided.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Picking orders with the use of hand held scanners.
• Packing the orders and loading them onto trays ready for dispatch to Gatwick Airport.
• Performing security checks on the airline carts to ensure no hazardous goods go onboard the plane.
• Completing paperwork and recording details on serial numbers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Good level of written and verbal English.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently once fully familiarised with the role.
• Will need to sit and pass their GSAT (General Security and Awareness Training).

As you will be partially working at Gatwick Airport you would need to undergo the following:

• Apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us!).
• Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us!).
• Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc).
• Provide a full 5-year address history.
• Attend an Aviation Security Course (Paid for by us!).
