Job description

Personal Care Assistant for a young lady in Thornaby - Stockton-on-Tees - TS17

I am a 26 year old female looking for a small team of personal care assistants to support me in my day-to-day life, from personal care to social and recreational activities and fully supporting me in my overall care.

Hours of work:

18 hours a week over 7 days. Hours to be split between 2 personal care assistants. Break down of hours will be discussed further at interview.

Key Duties:
  1. Supporting with personal care
  2. Supporting with dressing
  3. Medication prompts
  4. Attending medical appointments alongside me
  5. Household tasks such as cleaning
  6. Shopping support
  7. Support with recreational activities such as horse-riding
Essential Skills and Traits:

The successful candidates will have some experience of supporting people with additional needs such as physical disabilities and learning difficulties. Experience of supporting someone with a diagnosis of Autism would be desirable.

Due to personal care being required, only female applicants will be considered for the role in line with Schedule 9 Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
