Business Development Manager – Global Accounts Management

Position Summary

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and developing existing Samsung Semiconductor Europe Multinational Accounts in Europe. We are looking for candidates with experience in sales and business development with global customers in the electronics industry.

Role and Responsibilities

  1. Expand existing and develop new customer relationships
  2. Customer facing role with frequent visits to customer and 3rd party sites, mainly in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland.
  3. Day to day communication with existing Account Managers to determine focus areas and develop strategies
  4. Take ownership for associated account strategies
  5. Identify new business opportunities after analyzing customers and markets trend in the defined region
  6. Work closely with counterparts in Sales, Sales Operations, HQ Sales and worldwide Account teams
  7. Arrange and participate in customer meetings alone and with Account Managers
  8. Share regular (weekly) reports to highlight activities, trends and strategies
  9. Facilitate and strengthen effective communication between Device Solutions Europe and all customer related sites

Education and Experience

  1. Educated to degree level or higher
  2. Knowledge of semiconductor technologies, operations and cost models
  3. Good knowledge of application markets and customers (especially Server and PC)

Required Skills/Abilities

  1. Extensive sales thinking and pro-active / consultative sales approach
  2. Strong customer orientation
  3. Very good communication skills and ability to negotiate at all levels
  4. Self-starter being able to work under minimum supervision
  5. Initiative and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  6. Assertive, determined, flexible and creative personality
  7. Fluent in English language. Other languages are desirable for local communication
  8. Presentation and reporting skills
