Behaviour Support Assistant

Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire

Start Date: February

Salary: £85-£100 per day

Role Type: Long-term role at an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' school

Overview:

We are excited to be supporting a large SEN school in High Wycombe, looking for a proactive and motivating behaviour support assistant to impact the lives of young learners with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support young learners with additional learning needs.
  2. Implement IEPs and behaviour plans to aid pupil development.
  3. Foster a positive impact on the lives of young learners.

About the School:

This school provides a specialised and supportive environment for young learners with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, as well as those with ASD and ADHD. Requirements for the Behaviour Support Assistant role:

  1. Previous experience supporting challenging behaviour is essential.
  2. Team Teach training is desirable.
  3. Previous experience in education or working with young people is advantageous.
