Location: Stoke Mandeville/Wycombe/Amersham

Ward: Pharmacy

Pay Rates: Band 5 £18.66 per hour (excluding WTD and Holiday Pay) £21.21 per hour (including WTD and Holiday Pay)

Band 6 £22.99 per hour (excluding WTD and Holiday Pay) £26.14 per hour (including WTD and holiday pay)

Shift Patterns: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

What you can add:

  • Support the Pharmacy Clinical Trials service to conduct clinical trials in line with national and international regulatory standards.
  • Support the role of Lead Clinical Trial Pharmacist at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust in delivering Clinical Trial service to various Trust hospitals and deputise in their absence.
  • Lead the Clinical Trial technical team in the provisions of managing the day-to-day operations across multiple sites.
  • Set up, run, monitor and close Clinical Trials from pharmacy in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles.

What you’ll need:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services plus underpinning knowledge from BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science or an equivalent accredited qualification.
  • Registered member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Accredited Checker (or willing to undertake the course and to be completed within one year of the appointment).
  • Experience of Clinical Trials.
  • Ability to travel to other sites.
