2+ years experience in transport planning within the UK.
Background in managing HGV fleets and domestic transport.

Arranging deliveries and collections efficiently.
Monitoring drivers' hours and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Liaising with drivers to confirm delivery schedules.

NEW JUST IN - We are recruiting for someone who has 2 years + experience in transport planning UK and an understanding of Irish and EU Transport an advantage but not essential.

A good understanding of customs procedures also preferred.

You must have a background in looking after fleet of HGV vehicles and arranging Domestic transport and some International.

Duties:

Arranging deliveries & collections
Monitoring drivers hours, tacho's and understanding customer requirements such as ADR
Liaising with drivers regularly to ensure deliveries all ok and as planned
Updating customers and responding to queries
A knowledge of temperature controlled goods or pharma would be an advantage but not essential.
