The Opportunity

Join Samworth Brothers Supply Chain as a Transport Operations Manager and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced logistics environment. Based in Oak Meadow, you'll oversee transport operations, compliance, and efficiency, ensuring timely and cost-effective chilled food deliveries. With a strong focus on health & safety, driver training, and performance improvement, this role requires a CPC qualification, leadership skills, and expertise in transport planning systems. If you're passionate about logistics, operational excellence, and team development.

Oversee the day-to-day transport operations, ensuring seamless deliveries.
Lead and develop a team of Shift Managers and Driver Trainers.
Ensure full compliance with driver regulations, vehicle maintenance, and BRC standards.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service excellence.
Manage fleet operations, route optimization, and driver training programs.
Track performance metrics and implement process improvements.

National & International CPC holder (essential).
Extensive experience in transport management within a fast-paced setting.
Experience with transport planning systems, vehicle telematics, and logistics optimization.
Passion for health & safety, operational efficiency, and team development.
Desirable: Degree in Transport, Logistics, or Business Management.
