Job Description:

Stephenson Halliday are a well-known and respected consultancy providing planning and landscape services across the UK, particularly in the Energy and Minerals sector. Our team members provide local and technical expertise from our local offices but also act as a single planning team across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To help the Practice provide a professional planning service to our clients
  2. To help coordinate and manage multidisciplinary teams working on planning projects
  3. To maintain a good relationship with clients and deliver high quality project work
  4. To manage projects efficiently in accordance with the Stephenson Halliday project management procedures
  5. To work with the planning team to manage workload and ensure the best use of resources
  6. To work with others to ensure Planning, EIA and Project Management aspects of the website/social media channels are interesting, current and relevant and to promote the work undertaken

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Degree or masters in Town Planning or related discipline
  2. Membership of RTPI or RICS
  3. The candidate should be a capable planner with experience within minerals & waste.
  4. Confident in project and client management
  5. Experience of working across a range of development sectors
  6. Experience working in the energy or minerals sector is desirable but not essential and other experience will be considered
